podiatrist performing surgery in the office - MVS Podiatry Associates

For your convenience, simple procedures can be done in our state-of-the-art offices. Should surgical solutions become necessary, all of our doctors are either Board Certified or Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatry Surgery. Our Podiatrists can provide quick and convenient in-office surgical treatments for the following:

Wart Removal:

Warts are one of several soft tissue conditions of the foot that can be quite painful. They are caused by a virus, which generally invades the skin through small or invisible cuts and abrasions. They can appear anywhere on the skin, but, technically, only those on the sole are properly called plantar warts.

Ingrown Toenails:

Ingrown nails, the most common nail impairment, are nails whose corners or sides dig painfully into the soft tissue of nail grooves, often leading to irritation, redness, and swelling. Usually, toenails grow straight out. Sometimes, however, one or both corners or sides curve and grow into the flesh. The big toe is usually the victim of this condition, but other toes can also become affected.

Soft tissue lesions:

Soft tissue lesions of the foot and ankle are not uncommon. They may appear as innocuous soft tissue masses which can cause pain and discomfort. Our skilled Podiatrists can examine and determine if a quick and convenient in-office procedure is necessary to remove the mass.

Bunionectomy:

A bunionectomy procedure involves the removal of a painful bunion through both corrective bone cuts (osteotomies) and soft tissue re-balancing to realign the big toe joint. Podiatry Associates offers both traditional and minimally invasive bunion surgery.
